**Education and Experience**
+ High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred).
+ Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a tools/equipment-focused environment.
+ Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software.

**Responsibilities**
**Job Summary:**
The Tool Warehouse Manager oversees the daily operations of a tool storage and distribution facility, ensuring that tools are properly stored, maintained, and distributed efficiently. This role involves inventory management, staff supervision, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
**Key Responsiblities:**
**Inventory Management**
+ Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of tools and equipment.
+ Maintain an accurate inventory database using warehouse management computer systems.
+ Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
+ Implement and maintain procedures for proper tracking of tools, including spreadsheets for tracking inventory within company share drives.
**Operational Efficiency**
+ Develop and implement effective storage and retrieval systems to optimize space and accessibility.
+ Monitor and improve warehouse operations to ensure timely distribution of tools to various departments or job sites.
+ Coordinate with procurement teams to manage stock levels and reorder tools as necessary.
**Staff Supervision**
+ Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
+ Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure team productivity and efficiency.
+ Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
**Maintenance and Safety**
+ Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition and coordinate repairs or replacements when necessary.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
+ Develop and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace incidents.
**Reporting and Communication**
+ Prepare and submit reports on inventory, tool usage, and operational metrics.
+ Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and vendors to meet project and operational needs.
+ Address any discrepancies, shortages, or other issues promptly.
**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience**

+ Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
