Job Title: Tooling Design Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Design Engineer with experience in designing fixtures, tooling, and gages, and familiarity with GD&T. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating prints for new tools, analyzing data to support manufacturing decisions, and coordinating with the manufacturing engineering team on various projects.

ResponsibilitiesDesign fixtures, tooling, and gages with proficiency in GD&T.Create prints for new tools, submit them for approval, and manage document control.Analyze data to support and optimize manufacturing decisions.Coordinate with the manufacturing engineering team on manufacturing and automation projects.Investigate, establish, and implement requirements for tooling needed for new or revised products.Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing problems.Provide technical support to operations.Consult with design or project engineering teams regarding the producibility of complex molds, fixtures, or tooling.Essential SkillsProficiency in Siemens NX (MasterCAM and AutoCAD).Experience in tool design, particularly with 5 years of relevant experience.US citizenship due to ITAR requirements.Experience with 3D printing tool design, especially with polymers.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience.Associate Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Machine Design, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Engineering with 10 years of experience.Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement programs (such as 6S).Work Environment

This position is based on-site at a manufacturing facility, with a flexible 40-hour work week. Typical work hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, or 8 AM to 5 PM. The role does not require overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00
