We are committed to excellence in design and manufacturing, and we’re looking for a talented Tool Engineer with aerospace experience to contribute to our success. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design and develop precision tooling for aerospace applications, including BoxJoint, gears, linear slides, and other complex mechanical systems. + Utilize OnShape to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring manufacturability and adherence to design specifications. + Apply expert-level knowledge of GD&T to ensure proper fits, tolerances, and tooling locators in all designs. + Conduct thorough inspections and validations of tooling designs to maintain high standards of quality and performance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in tooling processes and designs. + Train and mentor team members in OnShape software, sharing best practices and techniques for efficient design. **Qualifications:** + Proven experience in tooling design within the aerospace industry. + Proficiency in OnShape; ability to teach and support others in the software. + Strong understanding of Solid Mechanical Engineering principles, including BoxJoint, gears, and linear slides. + Expert knowledge of GD&T, with a focus on precise tooling locators and 2D drawing capabilities. + Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality, manufacturable designs. + Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. + Catia experience **Benefits:** + Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. + Opportunities for professional development and training. + Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans.
