**Overview** The Tooling Quality Lead performs tooling inspections and supports quality processes of the Evansville Tool Shop **Responsibilities** · Complete tooling inspections and reports through various methods such as visual verification, 3D scanning, CMM operation, and other gauges · Must be able to read and interpret tooling prints and specifications · Provide CMM support and training for manufacturing employees · Perform Quality Room and CMM maintenance · Support the Calibration, Non-conformance, Quality Communications and Final Approval processes **Qualifications** **Required Education / Qualifications:** · High School Diploma / GED equivalent · Experience in programming and operation of coordinate measuring machines · Familiarity with tooling · Windows based computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) · Ability to work independently and as an effective team · Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously · Excellent problem-solving skills using established Quality methods · Ability to lift 50 pounds · Ability to safely operate a forklift · Ability to work overtime as needed **Preferred Education / Qualifications:** · Associates Degree or Metrology certifications · 3 years of experience in programming and operation of coordinate measuring machines · Experience with Mastercam, CMM Manager, Polyworks and / or Solidworks · Multiple years of experience in full tool build programs · Familiarity with the ISO 9001 Standard · Extensive knowledge in various types of tooling · Certified Journeyman Tool Maker We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
