About this Role

Brink Constructors, Inc.

 

Inspects and ensures that tools coming in and out of tool room are in working condition. Communicates with shop and coworkers to coordinate installations or repairs.

 

Location: 

This full -time position will work from our Rapid City, South Dakota corporate office with typical working hours of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

 

Pay:

This is an non-exempt/hourly position.  The pay range is $20-23/hour. Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensures that tools and equipment are maintained in good condition by performing visual and operating checks.Receiving reports from users on the nature and extent of damage to tools and equipment.Determines stock replenishment levels for centrally controlled supplies and other material.Check tools in and out.Provide assistance with loading/off-loading of tools, equipment and material upon delivery into the warehousePrepares periodic inventory and determines the basis for over, short, or misplaced items by checking such reference as out-for-repair, issued, and turn-in records maintained in the tools and parts room.Performs other duties as assignedAttend weekly safety meetings

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GEDTechnical or Trade School is helpful

Equipment Maintenance — Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.Tool -Equipment Selection — Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
Dependability — Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.Independence — Job requires developing one's own ways of doing things, guiding oneself with little or no supervision, and depending on oneself to get things done.Provide own toolsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel, tool software and email

Licenses:

Forklift licenseValid Driver’s license

Required:

Drug Free Workplace: must submit and pass a pre-employment drug testPrevious Admin Assistant experience requiredComputer literacy - must be proficient in ExcelAbility to multi-task while working with multiple departments company wideClerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
