Able to work accurately to meet precise tolerances of (+ - .001). •Material knowledge of tool steels and carbide Maintain proper identification of parts and ensure accurate, reliable records are documented and maintained. •Able to perform basic set-up of one tool room style machines (precision hardinge , sunnen hone, etc.) with minimum assistance Able to work on carbide dies Performs dimensional inspection by using micrometers, indicators, calipers and comparators, and other precision instruments as needed Set-up and operate any and all Tool Room machines, including lathes, Hones, Presses, Surface grinders and Tool & Cutter Able to work accurately to meet precise tolerances of (+ - .00025). Determines from blueprints, the work order tooling requirements needed to produce part (tool). Able to prioritizing work order for machining center operated Able to recommend repair, maintenance, or replacement of equipment. Able to support other shifts for tooling needs as required by business
