Tooling Technician

Job Description

The Tooling Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing tools and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition, and supporting production needs by setting up and calibrating tools. The role involves working closely with engineers, production managers, and other technicians to optimize tooling performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesInspect tools and equipment to identify wear, damage, or malfunctions.Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep tools in optimal working condition.Set up tools and equipment for production runs, ensuring proper calibration and alignment to produce parts within specified tolerances.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED.3-5 years of previous tooling experience.Experience using machining tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines.Understanding of tooling principles, materials, and processes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Why Work Here?Long-term job securityClimate-controlled work environmentOpportunities for growth and development.Competitive pay and benefitsPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00
