This position reports to

Engineering & Maintenance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Collaborate with the Die Cast Rotor and Maintenance Departments to facilitate the fabrication and repair of equipment tooling.Execute in-house fabrication and repair procedures to ensure seamless adherence to delivery timelines, fostering customer satisfaction.Safeguard operational continuity by maintaining in-house service capabilities, mitigating potential downtime risks and preserving production schedules.Uphold the imperative of timely order fulfillment by averting disruptions in the manufacturing process.

Qualifications for the role

High School Diploma-Appropriate college level machining classes strongly preferred.Must have demonstrated 2-5 years of machining and Welding experience.BUS/SAP Experience desirable.Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Solid Works preferred.Ability to adapt to new technologies and manage multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Project. Ability to read, interpret, and edit drawings. Team-oriented person with strong interpersonal, communication and cross-functional working skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is desired.Experience in gating, thermal and mold design with ability to read and understand flow simulations desired.Proven track record of project management skills preferred.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
