Tooling Technician III
**Job Title: Tooling Technician III** **Job Description** As a Tooling Technician III, you will work on the 2nd shift from 2:45pm to 11:15pm. Your role will involve using your knowledge, skills, and effort to safely install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and modify injection molds tooling, as well as assist in maintaining production and facility equipment. Additionally, you will have fabrication responsibilities within the toolroom. You will utilize Lean tools (RCCM, 5-whys, A3, etc.) to improve downtime trends and reduce costs. **Responsibilities** + Install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and modify injection molds tooling. + Assist in maintaining production and facility equipment. + Fabricate components within the toolroom. + Utilize Lean tools to improve downtime trends and reduce costs. + Fit and assemble parts to fabricate and repair injection molds, in-line assembly tools, and production fixtures/aides. + Complete tool changeovers with intermediate to advanced ability. + Operate maintenance equipment including hand and power tools. + Operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, and CNC equipment. + Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers, indicators, pin gages, and height gages. + Operate diagnostic equipment such as digital or analog volt/amp/ohm meters, thermographic cameras, and electric circuit analyzers. **Essential Skills** + Mold repair + Tooling + Troubleshooting + Grinding + Injection mold + Tool and die + Die maintenance + Machining + Toolroom + Die repair + Reading blueprints + Preventative/corrective maintenance **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to fit and assemble parts to fabricate and repair Injection Molds, in-line assembly tools and production fixtures/aides. + Intermediate to advanced ability to complete tool changeovers. + Ability to operate maintenance equipment including hand and power tools. + Ability to operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, and CNC equipment. + Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment. + Ability to operate diagnostic equipment. **Why Work Here?** You will be part of a team that values continuous improvement and innovation.
