Toolmaker with a curiosity about Metrology + **Location** Billund, Denmark + **Job ID** 0000021643 + **Category** Engineering & Science **Job Description** **Are you a skilled toolmaker with a curiosity about metrology, passionate about technical moulding issues, problem solving, and quality control?** **This is an outstanding chance to use your technical expertise in our tool shop (MAC) and help invent the next generation of LEGO® bricks!** **Core Responsibilities** As part of the Toolshop team in MAC, you will have a significant impact in ensuring that all our moulds are maintained and up to specification. + Maintain our test moulds and assist with your toolmaking knowledge in the troubleshooting and repairing of moulds and moulding equipment. + Inspect new incoming moulds and mould parts to ensure high-quality output. + Operate CMM and other measuring equipment in our internal metrology department. + Provide general support for ad-hoc tasks and projects. **Play your part in our team succeeding** You will be a part of the toolshop team in the Moulding Analytics Centre (MAC), owning the Global Moulding Process Platform. You will split your time between the toolshop and metrology department internally in MAC. The toolshop and metrology teams are crucial in ensuring that the moulds and measurement data are prepared flawlessly and on time! The Moulding Analytics Center (MAC) is a competence center for one of the LEGO Group's core capabilities: Injection moulding. It is responsible for extracting and analyzing data and providing a solid foundation for data-driven decision-making for engineering solutions related to the moulding process. **Do you have what it takes?** In terms of your background and skills, we envision you as an educated toolmaker with experience in repairing and maintaining injection moulds. Moreover, you have: + Knowledge in LEAN ways of working and identifying how to improve our processes and tasks. + Some experience in operating CMM measuring machines and other measuring equipment used to verify mould and plastic parts. + IT skills at a user level in Siemens NX, SAP, and the Microsoft suite (e.g., Outlook, Excel). + A structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously. + Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
