PCSI is looking for a Tool and Part Attendant in Ft. Knox, Kentucky! The Tool & parts Attendant receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in an industrial establishment. This position will report to the Roads & Grounds Supervisor and is based out of Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What You'll Do as a Tool & Parts Attendant:
Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in an industrial establishment. Does the following keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers, searches for lost or misplaced tools, prepares periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed, unpacks and stores new equipment; visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors; may coat tools with grease or other preservative, using a brush or spray gun, and may attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electric marking tool. What You'll Need to Be Successful:
High School Diploma or GED. 1-3 years related technical or practical experience required. General knowledge of Facilities, Operations, and Maintenance is desired.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability to perform multiple assignments concurrently. Demonstrated ability for long-term planning. Must possess the ability to develop a positive working relationship with customers and employees. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.Other Requirements:
Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening. Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors. Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Must Possess current Kentucky State Driver License. Must Possess current Commercial Driver License (Class A or B), if required for the equipment and vehicles operated, and maintain a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
