**Job Title: Pipelayer, up to $30/hr.** **Job Description** As a Top Man Foreman, you will be responsible for measuring and configuring pipe routes, gathering materials and installation tools, digging trenches, locating installed piping systems, and removing old or broken piping systems. You will also lay pipes into trenches, check pipe alignment, seal pipes with cement glue, install auxiliary lines, seal exposed pipe joints and fittings, and fill and seal pipe trenches. **Responsibilities** + Measuring and configuring pipe routes + Gathering material and installation tools + Digging trenches using hand and machine trenching tools + Locating installed piping systems using magnetic or radio indicators + Removing old or broken piping systems + Laying pipes into trenches and applying pipe spacers + Checking pipe alignment and sealing pipes with cement glue + Installing auxiliary lines + Sealing exposed pipe joints and fittings + Filling and sealing pipe trenches **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in laying pipes + Ability to lift 50lb + Experience in measuring and cutting pipes + Proficiency in using a laser to shoot grade **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proven work experience as a pipe layer + Detailed knowledge of construction and pipe fitting techniques + Knowledge of sewer systems, storm drains, and water mains + Experience with machine-operated trenching tools + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and city maps + Excellent physical fitness + Good communication skills + Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
