The Total Fluids Engineer is responsible for all Fluid handling at the rig site that is in Baker Hughes scope, with the exception of tools and equipment handling. The day-to-day activity will include Mud Testing, Chemical Inventory Management, Pressure testing, Mixing/treating fluids based on approved plans, Cement Unit Basic Maintenance and test equipment calibration. The elements from Drilling & Completions Fluid (DCF) & Pressure Pumping & Cementing (PP/CMT) will constitute the role. Project scope will drive training and competence content for this role.
As a Total Fluids Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Under minimal or no rig-site supervision, receive and follow detailed instructions on how to establish connectivity from rig site to remote operations.
Under minimal or no rig-site supervision, receive and follow detailed instructions and program on how to safely perform basic hands-on duties for the assigned tasks. Responsibilities include job preparation, pre and post job checks, load-out, chemical handling, mixing chemicals as per program, performing mud checks, mixing and pumping cement, pressure testing and executing all tasks deemed C1 critical.
The Total Fluids Engineer will receive all engineering and fluids program from the remote operations team.
Must operate company equipment in a safe manner, observing all company and government regulations and arrive at jobsite or other designated destination at scheduled time.
Maintain good customer relations and proper communication with coworkers and supervisors.
Maintaining chemical inventory on the rig site.
Operate & calibrate Fann meter, Mud balance and auxiliary mud testing equipment.
Input mud test results to specialists in remote operations team.
Pre & post job check on the Cementing unit/equipment.
Cement Unit maintenance after job.
Radiation job execution for Drilling Services and Wireline.

English language skills are required for this position.
Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited university or relevant industry experience within product line.
Have relevant work experience.
Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrate a Mechanical and or Electrical aptitude.
Have interpersonal skills to work well with colleagues and customers across all businesses and cultures.
Be able to manage multiple projects and/or deadlines.
