Job Summary:
Accountable for assisting management in providing detailed analysis of production related data in order to obtain continuous improvement.
Major Responsibilities:
Analyzes defects, proposes and implements counter measures to reduce the cost of defective processing. Analyzes and proposes ways to reduce Kohsu rates. Responds to problems and abnormal situations and offers countermeasures. Trains operators, team-leaders and assistant managers with specialized knowledge and skills related to production. Proposes improvements aimed at increasing efficiency in the entire production process. Make recommendations and budget proposals for implementing kaizen activities. Assists with generating annual manpower plan Aids in the start-up of new equipment and plant layout. Maintain 5’S Standards. Maintain good communication with team members.Minor Responsibilities:
Requires extensive communication and involvement with related internal departments in the analysis of production related data. Requires teamwork and participation of company activities such as IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 and Employee Involvement.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field. 0-2 years of direct experience.Key Competencies:
Requires a proven level of advanced analytical and problem solving skills. Requires extensive knowledge of production related processes. Requires previous experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. Requires the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats. Requires the proficient use of computer skills.Additional Roles & Responsibilities:
Understand your job responsibilities to perform, monitor and control the process as it affects Quality and Environmental Impacts. Follow all procedures and work instructions pertaining to your assignment and make recommendations to improve the process, as well as enhancements to the Environmental Management System. Notify Management immediately when problems or non-conformances are detected. Appropriately record problem or non-conformance to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken. Assist in the problem solving process, corrective action and prevention activities. Contain or stop the process as necessary to prevent non-conforming material from contaminating good material or negatively impacting the Environment.Benefits Summary:
