This job is part of the Total Rewards function within the People team but will provide direct support to merger, acquisition, divestiture and transition related projects with close collaboration with key stakeholders within compensation and benefits teams. **What You’ll Do:** • Support all aspects of integrating acquisition related employees onto CBRE total rewards programs (or related support for divestitures) -- across the full deal cycle: + Due diligence + Compensation and benefit program evaluation/analysis + Job leveling/mapping + Developing integration strategy (Day 1 and longer-term) + Post-close activities/implementation • Work closely with key total rewards stakeholders to develop and execute the overall Total Rewards integration strategy and plan • Support the overall due diligence process for acquisitions, mergers and divestitures and transitions, with a focus on all elements of total rewards such as base pay compensation structures, short and long-term incentive programs, employee benefits including health and welfare, retirement programs, etc. • Collaborate with the benefits and compensation teams on key integration activities across the deal cycle -- pre-close and post-close • Help manage the total rewards related key milestones/project plan/task list for M&A related transactions --- support management of broader M&A activities project plan • Consolidate and evaluate Seller information and data gathered during due diligence • Develop TR comparison analysis and prepare summaries and other materials to support decisioning as needed • Support development of standardized processes, project plans, tools and templates, etc. for M&A total rewards related activities • Help develop total rewards related employee communications to support M&A transitions -- e.g., total rewards summaries for employees to understand CBRE programs, materials to support employee on-boarding, slides for Day 1/Welcome Week • Key Compensation Related Activities: + Compile and analyze target company compensation programs (salary structures, short and long-term incentive structures, sales/commission plans, job structure/descriptions, etc.); track data requests with target company and ensure all requested information received timely + Help drive the overall job mapping process to CBRE’s global job architecture – oversee/manage tools, templates and processes to support overall effort. Collaborate with key stakeholders on process including segment compensation partners, people business partners, and business leaders + Help develop the compensation integration strategy and execution plan + Collaborate with the compensation team to identify and track all activities for integration as needed, including post-close activities • Key Benefits Related Activities: + Compile and analyze target company benefit programs -- including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, leave & disability programs, paid-time off, perquisites, etc. + Support preparation of comparison and gap analysis of Seller plans vs. CBRE plans – in collaboration with the benefits team + Coordinate with benefits team on developing and executing integration strategy + Help with activities related to post-close benefits integration – including termination and wind-down of seller benefit plans, collaborating with benefits team on compliance items, government filings, etc. • Partner with other Total Rewards team members and People Partners about program structure and costs. Act as a consultant to share knowledge with internal partners. • Research and evaluate compensation and benefits trends and market data. • Track the effectiveness of programs, policies, guidelines, and procedures. • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the TR Consultant position is $120,000 per year and the maximum salary for the TR Consultant position is $130,000.00 per year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
