Zion Lodge is in National Register of Historic Places designed in 1924 by Gilbert Stanley Underwood in the National Park Service rustic style. The Zion Lodge is a year-round operation with 76 hotels rooms, 6 suites and 40 cabins as well as a restaurant, outside grab and go café, bar, gift shop and auditorium space. In the year 2025 a coffee and wine bar will be opening.
Zion Lodge is a welcoming, safe, and environmentally responsible resort providing accommodations and services inside Zion National Park. Over the next few years, the resort will undergo upgrades to rejuvenate accommodations and dining for public enjoyment. Renewable energy projects and energy efficiency upgrades will also be completed as well as other Sustainability innovations. POWDR operates Zion Lodge under a long-term concession contract with the National Park Service.
Job Summary:
The Tour/Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing engaging and informative driving tours around Zion National Park for groups and hotel guests. This position ensures that all guests have a memorable experience while safely transporting them through the park. The Tour/Shuttle Driver will provide exceptional customer service, share knowledge about the park's history and ecology, and ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct driving tours around Zion National Park, providing insightful commentary and engaging guests with stories about the park’s history, geology, flora, and fauna.Safely transport guests to and from various points of interest within the park, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.Ensure a high level of customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing any concerns during tours.Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of the shuttle vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.Assist guests in boarding and disembarking the shuttle, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.Stay informed about current park conditions, road closures, and points of interest to provide accurate and timely information to guests.Maintain accurate records of tour participants and report any guest feedback or incidents to the Front Office Manager.Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as local and national regulations regarding transportation and hospitality services.Other Duties as Assigned:

Due to the in-person nature of the hospitality business, housing will be provided on-site and commuting from the local vicinity is also acceptable.Due to the nature of our business, Zion Lodge is open every day. You must be prepared to work a schedule which may include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Able to work and thrive in Zion National Park.Ability to requirements and compliance with our concessions contract.Ability to get along well with people, be honest, punctual and reliable.Ability to remain calm and friendly.Ability to adapt to changing work conditions.Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.Previous experience in a driving or tour guide role is a plus.Desire to be curious about Zion National Park, including its history, wildlife, and geological features.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.Ability to manage groups and maintain a positive atmosphere during tours.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.ESQ and Play Forever Responsibilities and Requirements:
