Scope of Responsibility:

The Tower Foreman is the leader of a crew performing general construction activities, with an emphasis on installing tower systems and the maintenance and inspections of existing tower structures.  Tower Foreman demonstrates ability to perform all essential job duties and is responsible for training and directing Crew Members on the performance of such skills.  Tower Foreman communicates daily with respective project manager regarding project progression and crew performance.  This individual shall at all times uphold the foundational goals of SABRE, “Client Service, Quality, and Safety” to enhance the integrity for which the organization has become known.    

 

Essential Duties:

Complete all necessary safety training provided by SABREComplete all necessary technical training provided by SABREAt all times, promote and maintain safe work practices as outlined in the SABRE Safety Manual, as well as other safety and quality directives issued by ManagementAbility to perform, train, direct, and oversee the following job duties:Operate hand and power tools with easeOperate trucks, trailers, and other equipment with easeUtilize basic crane signalsUtilize winch signals and operationsUtilize proper rigging practicesCompletion and submission of SABRE project and safety documentsEnter Crew Members’ hours worked and daily per diem per SABRE policyInstallation of various types of coaxial components with easeRouting of coaxial lines in/on various types of structuresInstallation of various antennas on various types of structuresTroubleshoot and repair various types of coaxial components and linesInstallation of tower lightingTroubleshoot and repair tower lightingInstallation of elliptical componentsRouting of elliptical lines in/on various types of structuresGeneral assembly and installation of microwave dishesPath alignment of standard microwave dishes up to 6 GHzTroubleshoot and repair elliptical components and linesLayout, assembly, and stacking of various structures

 

Position Requirements:

Maintain care of SABRE equipmentDemonstration of organizational skills in all tasksAbility to utilize intermediate computer skillsCommunication and coordination of all job-related activities with SABRE Management and Crew MembersCommunication between SABRE Management, clients, and other onsite personnelDirect crew by ensuring all work meets SABRE and customer standards, both in scheduling and job specificationsDirect crew in maximizing time spent on critical job functions to increase overall job profitability

 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testingAbility to travel for extended periods of timeMedical and physical ability to perform duties of the positionAbility to maintain a valid driver’s license, with a driving record that is within guidelines of the SABRE Driver’s Insurability AgreementCommunicate fluently with SABRE Management and other SABRE employeesAbility to read, understand, and complete job related documents with easeAbility to learn from various instruction methods, as well as self-studyAbility to train peers on proper work practicesAbility to climb and work at elevated heights up to 2000’, with a majority of work performed at 400’ or lessCompletion of a minimum of two years of service with SABRE or equivalent industry experienceSuccessful completion of any SABRE provided training
