We are currently hiring for a Tower Technician in Indianapolis! If you have mechanical and tower technician experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and are willing to travel, we’d love to hear from you! **Position:** Tower Technician **Shift:** 6:30a – 4:00p + Possible overnight shift when the project requires + On Call typically every 3rd to 4th week/Scheduled typically 2 months in advance **Pay:** $21 - $25 + Night Premium (9p-6a): +$2 + On-call gift card program + Per diem: $50/night + Travel Time: Same as hourly pay **Travel:** + Travel is typically within the state of Indiana + Travel can be a day to 3+ weeks at a time + Paid hotel rooms **Responsibilities:** + Install antennas, mounts, cable ladders, cable, etc. + Climb daily to heights up to 1000 ft. + Assist in testing of sites. + Participate in new tower construction. + Perform routine and special circumstance tower maintenance. + Assist in troubleshooting a variety of systems from cell sites to lighting systems. **Requirements:** + Comfortable working at heights up to 1000ft. + Cellular Tower/Broadcast Tower construction and maintenance experience is a plus. + General tower safety knowledge and ability to always utilize 100% tie-off techniques. + Mechanically inclined. + Must have reliable transportation to and from work. + Must be willing to travel up to 4 weeks at a time and able to work within a non-structured schedule i.e. long hours, weekends, 24x7 emergency coverage, etc. + Jin pole, Microwave, and Rigging experience a plus. + ComTrain, Anritsu, Andrew, Commscope, RFS, Cablewave, Eupen, and Boom Truck certifications a plus. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
