With broadcast agreements around the world including the NFL’s Thursday Night Football in the US, a new global rights deal with the National Basketball Association as well as rights to the UEFA Champions League in several EU countries, Prime Video is delivering the future of Live Sports to Prime customers. Advertising is a crucial part of our success in Live Sports. We are endeavoring to build a world-class live sports ad program that benefits our customers, advertisers and league partners with unique, never-been-done-before ad experiences. Our vision is to make every ad a customer sees during a live event broadcast dynamically inserted, personalized, measurable and interactive across all live event properties Prime Video distributes globally. As we engage with more leagues around the world, we need to extend our technology to support advertising in new sports, countries and experiences and we need to incorporate these new sports into our ad products for our advertising customers to easily buy placement in these events. In this role, you will own building the tools that make it easy for brands to buy into Amazon's live sports ad inventory and building new technology for ordering, scheduling, and billing ad campaigns. This will include engaging with Prime Video to understand the available inventory, developing tools to ingest new ad inventory from those rights, building schedules for each ad broadcast, tracking campaign delivery and ensuring accurate billing after the campaign ends. The leader in this role must stay well-informed about trends in live sports broadcasting and advertising, as well as innovations from Amazon’s internal advertising teams. They must address feedback from clients and sales partners and prioritize their resources to deliver on commitments to their partners. They will establish goals for the organization, will create mechanisms to manage the goals and are responsible for providing visibility across the organization on the program vision, goals and success. Key job responsibilities - Ad sales and operations engagement: Engage with Amazon Advertising's sales and ad ops team to deeply understand client needs. - Product Development: Develop tools to connect Prime Video's live event schedules to advertising systems and build internal tools for operators to execute ad campaigns. - Partnership with Production teams: Develop communication pathways and mechanisms to ingest ad schedules from production teams. - Partnership with Sales and Go-to-market teams: Ensure new properties are appropriately incorporated into our sales materials and we have proper planning to deliver on revenue goals. - Strategy authorship: Write 1, 4 and 6 page documents communicating plans to internal stakeholders from across and at all levels within Amazon. This includes monthly and quarterly business reviews and as a contributor to OP1. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 3+ years of software development experience - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
