TPM Specialist / Continuous Improvement

Make It With Pride.** TPM Specialist / Continuous Improvement Specialist This role is part of IL6S strategy in North America and will be a key element in delivering business results in Chicago through cultural transformation and capability building. You will be responsible for supporting teams on the deployment of AM and PM tools across the bakery, as well as tracking results, managing action plans, and supporting the elimination of losses. You will also contribute to employee skills improvement on HPO concepts and tools. Lastly, you will be a role model for High Performance Work Systems (HPWS) across the bakery, leading by example and making an impact to move the culture forward. **How you will contribute** You will: + Track execution and compliance to IL6S work processes, create KAI and KPIs to monitor progress. + Generate reports and dashboards for clear visibility of results. If results are off track, be part of the team to assess results and propose actions. + Provide training on AM/PM tools and techniques to help drive teams through HPO activities (DMS, SGA, 5S, CIL, etc.). You will also coach employees to help them achieve their targets + Actively Participate in pillar meetings and contribute with pillar actions plans and connections with shop floor. + Partner with operations and maintenance (shift lead, AM line lead, PM lead) to implement AM and PM work processes across the bakery. + Identify process improvement needs with department leads, facilitate sessions and support execution of newly established improvements. + Benchmark externally, ensuring where relevant that best practice and new tools are deployed in collaboration with internal partners. + Identifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions. + Partner with other areas to propose, develop business case and implement digital tools and processes to simply and eliminate non-value-added activities. **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Experience implementing continuous improvement processes (e.g. TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)for manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma in the consumer goods industry) + Strong facilitation and communication skills + Logical thinking and capacity to influence + Results oriented and prepared to deal with ambiguity + Working in teams and independently with appropriate guidance + Prioritizing and managing activities + Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data and to reach clear conclusions + Communicating technical information effectively verbally and in writing + Prioritizing and managing activities **More about this role** **Education / Certifications:** + Bachelor’s degree concentration in Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field + IL6S Belt is preferred. **Job specific requirements:** + Minimum 2 years’ experience leading Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)and/or Continuous Improvementtools/processes. + Practical experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, 5-whys, Ishikawa, Problem Statement, Kaizens) + Good working knowledge of supply chain / manufacturing (food production preferred but not required) + Solid knowledge of Focused Improvement / Analytical Skills (Root Cause Analysis (RCA) / BB) **Travel requirements:** + No **Work schedule:** + Monday - Friday **.** + First shift, flexibility required **Benefits and salary:** + The anticipated base salary range for this position is $73,900 to $101,650; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.
