**Job Title: TPM Technician**
**Job Description**
Assist and support the development and implementation of TPM and LEAN manufacturing practices, preventative maintenance packages, work instructions, job safety analysis, standard operating procedures, operator safety checks, equipment documentation, and LOTO procedures. The candidate will ensure correct and accurate SOPs at each machine, placing step-by-step sticker instructions on the machine, floor, and surrounding areas to ensure the work area is safe and operation instructions are clear. Responsibilities also include maintaining the general exterior cleanliness and appearance of machines, and addressing any major mess or dirt.
**Responsibilities**
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other general programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Explorer, and Photo Suite programs, Web, SAP etc., and type 25 WPM.
+ Work with other sub-contractors to accomplish assigned projects and tasks.
+ Utilize operator manuals, prints, procedures, and personnel to search required information.
+ Use general hand tools.
+ Perform general-purpose maintenance tasks including painting, hanging wall objects, general cleanup, carpentry, plumbing, lighting, and floor care.
+ Maintain personal tools required for your job, including an up-to-date documented personal tool list, which will be provided as part of employment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.
+ Lockout/tagout experience.
+ Mechanical and machine maintenance knowledge.
+ Experience in troubleshooting, construction, industrial maintenance, and electrical work.
+ Strong familiarity with JIT, LEAN, TPM, Six-S, and Six Sigma philosophies and practices.
+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
+ Ability to work in AC'ed and non-AC'ed environments.
+ Ability to walk and be on your feet 90% of the day.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
+ Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
+ Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 6+ months of work experience in an industrial setting, warehouse, production facility, or construction site.
+ Experience or schooling in electronics, mechanical, or a technical field is a plus.
+ Experience in procedure writing and bonding and grounding is a plus.
+ Strong computer skills (non-pecking, proficient typist).
+ High School Diploma (HSD) or GED required.

**Work Environment**
Work hours are from 6 AM - 2:30 PM, with an option to move to a 5 AM - 1:30 PM shift if desired. The job requires 90% of the day to be spent walking or standing. The shop environment can be dirty and parts of the shop are not air-conditioned. Candidates must be comfortable getting their hands dirty and working in varying conditions.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of NA, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00

**Workplace Type**
