**Job Summary**
The Machine Technician reports to the Production Manager or Production Supervisor. Under the leadership of the Shift Technician, the Machine Technician must be familiar with areas of the extrusion process procedures along with associated line equipment procedures to maintain proper functioning, and continuous efficient operation. The Machine Technician will perform various, rotating duties relating to all manufacturing operations, including the winder, palletizer, and associated line equipment. He/She also are required to operate offline equipment such as the FEMA roll slicer, and granulator elutriator.
**Essential Duties**
+ Produce high quality products on a consistent basis -Plant RCN, PCN, and online testing.
+ Generate timely, consistent reports
+ Communicate with other production operators and leaders
+ Assure all activities are performed safely
**Schedule**
+ 12 hour shifts – 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am
+ Rotating schedule – rotates every 28 days
+ Schedule includes some weekends
**Qualifications Required**
+ H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
**General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Demonstrated intermediate communication and interpersonal skillsStrong planning, prioritization, organizational and reporting skillsIndependent problem- solving skills
**Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Ability to troubleshoot and solve production challenges
+ Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite
+ Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures
