TPRM Engineer

Description We are offering an exciting contract to permanent employment opportunity for a TPRM Engineer in Irving, Texas, United States. In this important role, you will focus on the identification, management, and mitigation of security, financial, and operational risks associated with our third-party operation partners. You will be required to have a deep understanding of the security landscape, particularly in relation to third-party service providers.
Responsibilities
• Ensure a comprehensive security tool stack configuration to continuously monitor for changes.
• Execute and perform security risk assessments for on-premise, cloud-based, and support services.
• Develop business cases on new technologies to address new and emerging risks, as well as gaps identified by external and internal assessors of the TPRM program.
• Influence senior leaders and technology SMEs with complex security recommendations.
• Maintain security controls and requirements across multiple risk domains in alignment with industry, regulatory standards.
• Drive structured analysis with extensive IT risk, security, and compliance experience.
• Lead security metrics consolidation and development efforts to measure the risk of third parties.
• Apply leading information security frameworks and best practices (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO27001/2, and CIS Top 20 Controls) to identify appropriate security measures and multiple risk treatments.
• Identify technology and process changes to enhance security measures and reduce risk.
• Build strong relationships with other technical personnel to provide insightful opinions on security matters.
• Lead the overall direction, mission, and purpose of the Third-Party Risk team.
• Design and implement TPRM tools that build customer trust in TPRM services.
• Design and implement security tools that enable the identification of "concerning" activity around third-party services. Requirements • Proficiency in Auditing, with a strong emphasis on meticulous attention to detail and an ability to identify potential areas of risk
• Solid understanding and experience in Cyber Security, demonstrating the ability to protect information systems from potential threats
• Familiarity with NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) guidelines and procedures, applying them effectively to maintain system integrity
• Experience in managing Third Party relationships, ensuring compliance and maintaining strong, productive partnerships
• Expertise in Cybersecurity compliance, demonstrating a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure organization-wide adherence. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
