Qualifications

Education:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a formal phlebotomy training program or medical assistant training program

Experience:

Required: 2 years of laboratory and acute care experience, and basic laboratory computer/lab information system experience

Certifications:

Required: Completion of formal phlebotomy training program and/or national phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ANP, ASPT or similar.
