Trabian Developer (Full-Stack)

Job Summary

As a Developer at Trabian, you play a critical role in building and maintaining financial technology applications, delivering high-quality code, and supporting the continuous improvement of our development processes. You are expected to contribute to code reviews, embrace best practices in software development, and collaborate effectively with your team.

Preferred candidates will have proven experience in .NET web application development as well as a strong interest in working in other skill areas such as Data Engineering, Python, or React.

What You'll Do

Develop, test, and debug tools and applications, using a variety of UI frameworks, programming languages, data sources, and cloud technologies. Translate design specifications into responsive, accessible UI code, ensuring a seamless user experience. Ensure deliverables are accurate, functional, and adhere to Trabian’s standards for clean, efficient, and well-tested code and user interfaces. In collaboration with project managers, effectively prioritize and tackle tasks, following Trabian’s change management and software development life cycle policies. Clearly document your work, actively seeking and incorporating feedback. Execute thorough validation and verification testing to ensure software performance aligns with deliverable expectations. Embrace and integrate innovative tools and scripts to enhance efficiency and productivity, subject to team leader approval. Develop and maintain software test plans, including both manual and automated testing. Create and maintain developer, stakeholder, and end-user documentation. Participate in software deployment processes, including release plans and release verification. Engage in technical design discussions, code reviews, and contribute to pull requests. Work closely with internal teams, customers, and vendors to develop, troubleshoot, and enhance products. Support requirements gathering and project scoping for new leads. Develop working knowledge of industry trends and advancements in technology.

Skills

Preferred 3-4 years experience as a software developer. Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting complex software systems. Solid understanding of software development methodologies and design principles. Proficiency in a mix of frontend and backend development technologies such as Python, PHP, Node.js, .NET, Ruby, CSS/HTML, JavaScript, React, React
Native, GraphQL, and SQL. Familiarity with git-based versioning, containerization, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and testing practices. Strong communication skills. Keen attention to detail and efficient time management.
