**Job Summary:** Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for performing intermediate-level maintenance, service, and repair of J.B. Hunt tractors and other equipment. Technicians must be able to troubleshoot issues, complete all fleet maintenance processes, and ensure that units meet J.B. Hunt specifications at all times. This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance. **Job Description:** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Must be 18 years of age with 2 years of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or military equivalent + AND Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences + Must be A/C certified + Must be DOT certified in FHWA inspections and air brakes + Able to supply your own basic tools, or purchase through our toolbox purchase program + Willingness to work outdoors in the elements + Able to work across multiple shifts, including nights and/or weekends if needed **Preferred Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2+ years of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or military equivalent + Basic welding skills (MIG and stick ) + Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums + Ability to manage multiple priorities + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team + Proficient computer skills and/or comfortable working with a computer, including Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) + Ability to use time and resources efficiently and effectively + Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move appliance up to 50 pounds) + Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE) **Shift Schedule:** + Monday to Friday - 2:00pm-10:30pm In addition to the company benefits listed below, the maintenance team will also have access to: + Career growth opportunities + Company-provided uniforms and annual boot program + Safety culture with bonus incentives Technicians can gain new skills and grow their opportunities through J.B.
