Trade Compliance Analyst


 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Classifying & determining products classification and import/export certification requirements. Apply and manage product certificates based on products import/export compliance certification requirements. Support Trade facilitation team for daily import/export clearance questions, help stable the process and minimize compliance risk. Obtain pre-classification opinions and registrations according to Company classification strategy. Advice proper classification strategy based on regulation change, be responsible for classification process and procedure of local company. Cooperate with the customer and internal colleagues in manufacturing and sales/services operations to ensure excellent customer satisfaction Ensuring compliance with applicable trade compliance regulations, including local trade regulations pertaining to import and export, classification Supporting Trade Compliance Manager in interacting with local customs authorities and other applicable governmental agencies and officials on behalf of NI
    Who You Are:
A person who manage daily trade compliance import and export operations including reviewing classifications and applying import/export certifications for multiple APAC countries including India, China and so on
    For This Role, You Will Need: Ability to learn classification and import/export certification management strategy of NI and be able to answer classification/certification inquiries with cooperation with NI Global Classification Group Ability to detect business risk, gaps and propose the needed solutions. Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Business Applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.); ERP applications. Ability to thrive in a global, multi-time-zone team environment Has the initiative to undertake additional responsibilities
 
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Preference of working experience in HS Code classification, import/export certification management of Electrical and Mechanical products, electronic engineer. At the same time, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.  Bachelor’s Degree Required (Preferred Major: Engineering).
