In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s trade practices comply with local and international regulations regarding the movement of products to our customers.  This is a great opportunity to gain new skills and increase your knowledge in Trade Compliance and Export!

 WHAT YOU WILL DO

\n\nYou are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all products we ship.  \nYou will assist in coordinating the movement of goods and products from one destination to another. (This could be from one country to another or within the domestic United States.)\nYou will ensure the correct paperwork for shipments and their exporters.  \nYou will also monitor freight through the entire process and work to resolve any issues.\n      Maintaining and keeping documents traceable during the import/export process to ensure Veeder-Root complies with the Duty Drawback Program.\nAnnual updating of Free Trade Agreement information\n      Update parts with HTS codes/CCL restrictions.\n\n

WHO YOU ARE

\n\nUnderstanding international trade regulations and customs procedures.\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency in computer software applications, such as Microsoft Office.\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team. \nFlexibility to work different hours as needed to fit the business needs.\nExperience working in a logistics or export-related role is preferred.\nKnowledge of logistics and transportation industry practices and terminology is preferred.\n\n
