The Estimator II (emphasis on architectural trade disciplines)  

Responsibilities Perform estimating on civil, architectural and structural portions of projects through review of drawings and specificationsProduce quantitative surveys and accurate pricing for comparison with change order proposal submitted by priome contractorsObtain and present unit pricing data Responsible for outlining changes, clarifications and qualifications within an estimate Provide back up for estimates to be used during analysis, review , and negotiationsIdentify indirect costs and General Condition items within estimate Possess and apply knowledge of unit prices and the material/labor component of an estimateProduce manpower estimates to coincide with unit pricing

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

Bachelor in Engineering 3-5 years relevant experience Or equivalent combination of education and experience 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Familiar with market pricing and trends Basic understanding of all phases of estimating 

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    


For New York, New York this ranges from $90,000.00 -$120,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
