Job Summary:
As a Trade Lifecycle Specialist IV within J.P. Morgan's Currencies Operating team, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive operational services for our Foreign Exchange business. Our team supports over 60,000 clients, managing payments across 135 countries and transacting in 113 currencies, handling over $2 trillion in gross settlements daily. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment with opportunities for continuous learning, increased responsibility, and recognition for excellence. You will collaborate with clients, product partners, processing teams, and other internal teams to ensure seamless operations, perform key controls, and provide top-quality client service.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage failed settlements (nostro breaks) and ensure timely resolution. Ensure accurate payment settlements and follow up on any discrepancies promptly. Monitor and respond to incoming queries via SWIFT, email, and eServe. Identify and investigate root causes of issues. Build strong relationships with internal partners and external clients. Participate in process improvement initiatives. Escalate issues to the team leader within appropriate timeframes. Collaborate with various groups to resolve client issues efficiently. Generate manual SWIFT payments.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Experience in an operational, financial services, or customer service environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workload. Excellent communication skills and experience in building relationships. Ownership mindset with the ability to follow through on departmental objectives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good working knowledge of the Global Transfer Policy is advantageous. Excellent time management skills. Knowledge of TSSFX, IRECS, FTS, and PRPC is useful. Ability to work under pressure with urgency and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

FX experience is desirable but not essential. Results-oriented with the capability to prioritize and think laterally.
