The Role: Japan Trade Marketing Manager (Cross category)
Location: Tokyo
The Trade Marketing Manager functions as a key role in driving the growth of key categories including C&P, Gaming, Webcam, and Tablet in OFL channels. This position works closely with different functions including Category managers, Retail Sales Team, Field sales force, and other supporting teams to drive the category strategy into action and lead to develop OFL marketing programs to ensure the achievement of the category target. He/she needs the integrated capability and should have strong mind of ownership and self-motivation.
The Trade Marketing Manager reports directly to Japan GM (Country Head).

Responsible for leading OFL Planogram (shelf design), POSM messaging, and Trade marketing program development for key categories
Keep upgrading planogram to show how and where specific retail products should be placed on shelves or displays to increase sell-out
Design POSM for big NPIs (new product’s launch) with impactful, easy to understand, and insightful messages to drive sell-out in retail
Responsible for ensuring in market program execution, performance tracking and evaluation
Lead in collaborating and aligning with key stakeholders including agencies, Sales team, Cluster Category Manager in developing OFL trade marketing strategies and programs
Set KPI’s, evaluate performance and ROI for key trade marketing programs, and conclude clear learnings as implications for future program developments
Your Skills: you must bring the following skills and behaviors
5+ years of experience in trade marketing, leading planogram, managing merchandizing strategy, designing POSM messaging, and trade marketing programs in consumer electronics product or FMCG industry
Demonstrated consumer centric approach understanding customer preferences, attitudes and other factors for innovative solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence brand strategy across the organization, is required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, both functionally and geographically is critical.
Ability to view issues from a broad strategic perspective and strong experience in problem solving, influencing and decision making.
Organizational savvy to understand how to get things done in a matrix organization
Team player – great communicator
Self-management skills and self-started attitude highly valued
English fluent verbally and written is a plus (not mandatory)
