**About the Role**
**The Position**
A Trade Operations Analyst will work as part of a team in a fast-paced, fluid environment where ability to prioritize multiple tasks while experiencing short-term interruptions are highly valued. The incumbent will work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues around the world. The primary responsibility of a Trade Operations Analyst will be problem solving and troubleshooting trade issues.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
A Trade Operations Analyst will:
+ Research and resolve equity and fixed income trade discrepancies by interacting with brokers, banks, and Wellington personnel
+ Instruct trades and trade amendments to service providers when necessary
+ Support the APAC traders in pre- and post-trade preparation e.g. prefunding and broker onboarding in APAC markets
+ Assist in syndicate process e.g. IPO and placements
+ Engage professionally with external service providers (i.e. brokers, banks and vendors)
+ Manage strategic projects and initiatives as well as prioritizing information technology needs and requirements
+ Mitigate risk through strong procedural discipline and prudent judgement
+ Research and evaluate operational requirements of new market/asset types being considered for investment or changes to existing markets
+ Assist other areas of the firm to support client needs and respond to general custody and trading inquiries
+ Ad hoc tasks as assigned
**Job Qualifications**
A Trade Operations Analyst must be able to work quickly and accurately under pressure, possess a high degree of analytical ability and can plan/prioritize tasks in a fluid environment. Team orientation and the ability to work in concert with external service providers and colleagues located around the world are essential. Successful candidates must have impeccable integrity, a fiduciary mindset, and the ability to consistently place the interest of our clients as the number one factor in judgment, decision-making and actions. Knowledge of equities, fixed income and foreign exchange is preferred but not required.

+ Must be a good team player and possess flexible mindset to work in a team environment
+ Relevant job experience preferred but not required
+ Experience with commonly used business applications such as Bank websites, ALERT, OASYS, Bloomberg, Omgeo Connect/CTM, Omgeo TradeSuite and SWIFT will be considered a plus
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel) is required
+ Technical proficiency in Tableau, Python or VBA is a value add
