Activities

Tasks :

Daily management of Company’s FX position.Daily management of Company’s cash position (mainly €, $, £, NOK).Daily animation of Company’s Commercial Paper Programs (NeuCP, EuroCP and USCP).Perform arbitrages on Money Markets to optimize Company Treasury management.In addition to managing Company’s FX and Interest rate positions, take trading positions on FX and Interest rates in full respect of internal rules (Treasury Rules, Group rules, Sarbanes-Oxley, banking ratios...) and limits (counterparty and positions).Check Daily P&L produced by Middle Office.Remain a reference point for FX and Money Market topics within the Company.Perform request or market-driven studies; Recommend investment strategies to Management.Participate in seminars, build relationships with affiliates.Permanent follow-up of FX and Money Markets to ensure accurate risk taking and provide motivated advisory services.Prepare or participate in preparing the weekly markets review memo.Animate market relationships (banks, brokers...).Train and/or or coach possible trainees.

 

Reporting line

Reports to the Head of Financial Markets Transactions, in turn reporting to the Company Treasurer. Candidate Profile We are looking to hire a highly talented and driven trader, with at least 3-year prior experience in a trading room at a Bank or a Corporate.Proficiency in financial instruments, with a focus on FX and Money Market topics. Accounting and Tax knowledge are a plus.Analytical skills, ability to make decisions in a dynamic and challenging environment, and to take calculated risks.Proven resistance to stress, ability to be a constructive and participating and knowledge-sharing team member with recognized ethics. Fluent French will be an asset.
