About this opportunity:

Cenovus is hiring a Trader Analyst to join our team in Dublin, Ohio. The Trader Analyst will be responsible for various trading support functions for RINs, gasoline and diesel, including: trade analysis, price and cash forecasting, pricing support, and risk mitigation. The Trader Analyst will also manage entry of trades into the ETRM systems and execute inter book deals with internal counterparties.

What you’ll do:

Provide trade analysis for gasolines, distillates and RINsAssist with pricing products with varying degrees of renewable content (ex. B5 vs B10 vs B20)Track and forecast cash inlays & outlays for RIN transactionsManages entry of trades between ETRM system and analytics toolsExecute inter book deals for RINs, gasoline and distillatesTracking & forecasting relevant prices and spreads to advise on RIN purchasesIdentify and communicate operational risk, define risk mitigating measures and priorities

Who you are:

Legally authorized to work in the US2+ years experience within a Back Office / Market Operations environment Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering or financial engineering

Preferred:

Knowledge of energy commodity markets is highly desirable Strong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong drive for results and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills Interest in learning new skills in a complex and changing environment, adaptability to changeStrong drive to improve processes and systems IT skills (Excel, VBA, Python)
