The Trading Assistant supports trading team on swaps execution for all offshore derivatives cleared SGX, CME, International DCE and LME. Responsible for accuracy of recaps, trades and reconciliation of breaks, the Trading Assistant ensures accurate and timely reporting of Trading Position and Estimated PnL on a BAU basis for Ore business, including checking and reviewing of month end impact due to PnL actualization and make efficient the current position and PnL reporting processes through better organization and/or streamlining of the related processes.
Key AccountabilitiesAssist traders in execution of offshore derivatives (SGX, CME, international DCE, LME) and FX hedges, manage fee negotiation and volume placement with broker panel, manage relationships and fee negotiation with exchanges
Assist traders in trade booking and amendments to ensure timely and accurate capture of all physical and derivatives trades in CTRM
Running the daily processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the trading position and estimated PNL to Trading team and other key stakeholders on a BAU basis (including daily position and PNL reconciliation with Trading team and Trade Product Control, and integration of new products / new indices / new pricing mechanisms to the BAU process)
Add commercial value by creating visibility on market structure and market positioning
Continuous improvement of related processes around trade booking, position and PNL reconciliation processes through system and process enhancements, including putting in place operational controls while ensuring business growth is not hampered. Cross training within Trading Support team to support other product lines is also expected to ensure adequate support is provided when team members are on leave
