Traffic Administrator
Overview The Fayetteville Traffic Center currently has an opening to fill the position of full time Traffic Administrator, a full-time Admin position. This position requires extensive computer experience, leadership, organizational and analytical skills. The ability to work independently and with multiple teams simultaneously while prioritizing workloads is required. Written and extensive verbal communication skills are needed to support daily coordination with drivers, logistics centers, external customers, and vendors. Computer systems utilized include Excel, Outlook, Teams, PeopleNet, Transportation Manager, Dispatch Planning System. Overnight shift (9pm – 7am) – Days to be determined Responsibilities Freight Coordination & Load Management – Oversee internal freight loads by working closely with drivers and sales partners to ensure smooth transportation operations. Sales & Customer Support – Collaborate with the Sales Team to guarantee accurate and timely deliveries while promptly resolving any load-related issues. Routing & Scheduling – Manage daily routing duties for the internal driver load board and ensure on-time deliveries through efficient scheduling. Carrier & Distribution Communication – Book carrier loads online, maintain strong relationships with local carriers, and coordinate with Distribution Centers and Plants on Common Carrier opportunities. Operational & Administrative Duties – Attend scheduling meetings to align freight operations with business needs. Facilitate tag/run-right meetings and prepare shift transition reports for seamless handovers. Create and maintain an organized Dispatch Board for real-time tracking. Analyze daily shipment summaries to optimize efficiency and address potential issues. Manage PepsiCo Integrated Freight loads to ensure operational excellence. Cross-Functional Support – Provide backup support for other administrative roles within the Traffic Department as needed. Other Duties – Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the department's success. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $33,300 - $53,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
