Key Responsibilities:
Be the First Point of Contact: Welcome and assist delivery drivers, ensuring a seamless check-in process.Handle Payments: Receive, count, and accurately log cash received from carriers when necessary.Coordinate Shipping & Receiving: Work closely with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure all shipping and receiving documents are complete and accurate.Ensure Accuracy: Verify and count products to maintain precise data records in our system.Communicate Proactively: Notify carriers and team members about pending shipments, no-shows, or unscheduled arrivals.Manage Schedules: Reschedule appointments as needed, keeping operations on track and efficient.Data Entry Expertise: Input critical information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) scheduler with accuracy and speed.Additional Opportunities:
Collaborate with various departments to support operational excellence.Tackle other logistics-related tasks to grow and expand your skillset.What You Bring to the Table:
Strong basic math skills to ensure accuracy in all tasks.Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities to interact seamlessly with internal and external customers.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications.Flexibility to work in diverse environments: cold storage (-20°F/-25°C) or dry storage (up to 100°F/37°C), with proper protective gear provided.Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.
