**Job Description** : In this role, the Traffic Clerk will coordinate and enter shipments or receipts in SAP or other programs, secure carriers, schedule activities, prepare paperwork, & communicate effectively with Customer Service, Business Centers, carriers/railroads and plant personnel to coordinate activities. **What will be expected from you?** + Receive and process receipts and/or sales orders. + Generate shipping documents and schedules. + Maintain the completed bill of lading files in compliance with corporate retention guideline. + Prepare and maintain reports in Microsoft Excel. + Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers (railroads, truck carriers, business centers, and plant personnel). + Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives. + Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives. + Assists other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor. + Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company required training programs. **What are we looking for in the Ideal Candidate?** + Associate Degree preferred. + Prior SAP experience is preferred.. + Minimum of 2 year of relevant experience required. + Must have a level of proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs. + Experience with logistics operations is helpful, but not required. + Bourque/YardMaster or any rail management program. **What can we offer you?** Indorama Ventures – Indovinya is a global and innovative chemical company, offering sustainable and high-value solutions for the long-term success of our customers.
