Traffic Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Summary of Position:

 

Responsible for calling in PO's, building loads and scheduling freight. Will work directly with HbI customers (Walmart/Target, etc.) to manage outbound freight from the VSC. Will work directly with drivers who are picking up loads. Responsible for all invoicing, cut case alerts and filling/responding of all customer shipments and necessary documents. Responsible for running trial and final Bill of Ladings and managing systematic dock locations

 

Minimum Experience Required:
 

Demonstrated self starter with leadership skills Good oral and written communication skills are required Experience related to Traffic or Shipping of finished goods within a Distribution system. - Minimum 2 years experience Must be competent using computer in a distribution environment (PKMS/Warehouse management system).  Also, experience in Word and Excel - Minimum 2 years experience The successful candidate must be able to make good decisions as well as initiate communicatin of any Traffic concerns to the appropriate personnel. Position requires occassional travel to the various Distribution facilities within retal distribution. Candidate must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.  

 

Minimum Education Required:
 

High School graduate or equivalent required Advanced degree preferred Previous experience in PKMS or other Warehouse management system required
