The Traffic Coordinator tracks and prepares logs for scheduled programming and advertisements. + Multitasking with new orders and adjustments to existing logs + Programming duties included but not limited to – creating and maintaining program schedule grids as well as weekly sports contingency plans + Cross department collaboration with sales, engineering, master control, promotions, news, etc. + Ability to work within a hub environment + Working with incoming orders and sales contract translation into the Wide Orbit Traffic system + Daily generation of commercial and programming logs + Inventory control, database library management, broadcast automation, logistical issues + Serve as a back-up to Traffic/Programming Manager + So much more + What you’ll need as a Traffic Coordinator (Preferred Qualifications): + College degree preferred + English language skills + Meticulous attention to detail + Excellent communication skills, both oral and written + Knowledge of, and the ability to interpret, sales and programming contracts + Ability to comply with deadlines and perform under pressure + Proficiency with computers and an ability to learn new software quickly + Experience in broadcasting traffic/programming preferred + Wide Orbit Traffic experience is a plus *Please include cover letter when applying. #onsite Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
