Job Title: Traffic Engineer For more information please send resumes to jwesley@actalentservices.com*** Job Description We are seeking a Traffic Engineer to support Engineers and Project Managers in the preparation of transportation plans, traffic engineering analysis, and transportation studies. The role includes a variety of tasks related to traffic and transportation engineering. Responsibilities + Prepare specifications and plans for roadway improvement projects. + Conduct technical analysis. + Perform traffic calming studies and design. + Prepare technical reports. + Develop transportation-related plans and graphics. + Collect field data, traffic counts, and other research. + Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates. + Travel to job sites for site visits, data collection, and meetings, as required. + Provide technical support for meetings. + Perform other duties as directed by staff. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Engineering. + 3-10 years of experience in traffic engineering. + Experience in 3D, traffic studies, traffic analysis, and transportation engineering. + EIT (Engineer in Training) certification preferred. + Experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD. Additional Skills & Qualifications + PTOE (Professional Traffic Operations Engineer) certification desirable.
