**Waste Connections is looking to hire a Traffic Management Flagger to join our team in Vancouver WA.** **The starting rate of pay is** **$26.00/HR** **The schedule for this position will be Tuesday through Saturday 8 am-4:30 pm** Responsibilities Include: + This is a safety-sensitive position + Spotting and helping to direct customers and work trucks to appropriate dump sites. + Traffic management - moving signs and cones + Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing + General site cleanup as needed + Friendly customer service Requirements: + At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a labor type position. + The ability to lift up to 75 pounds + Experience operating equipment is a plus + Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: + Exposed to different weather year round. + Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. + Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 to 75 + pounds. + Ability to operate heavy equipment, skid steer and forklift safety. + Knowledge of light and heavy equipment operation and maintenance. + Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
