ResponsibilitiesDescription of Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Operations, Sales, and freight vendors to effectively ship orders and maintain OTD (on-time-delivery).Maintain a clean and orderly shipping office while building a team environment.Negotiates rates with outside carriers-Brokers, builds new carriers contacts with contract carriers and ensures their equipment meets DOT safety standards.Assist in tagging material for outbound shipment.Allocate and deduct inventory (to include quality inspection of shop ticket paperwork).Create shipping documents, distribute them to drivers, and maintain traceability of the documents.Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures found in the Employee HandbookAssist your manager with any other projects they may assign to you QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:
