We are looking to hire entry/mid-level professional with 0-5  years of experience to work with the Transportation group in our Meriden, CT office.

Responsibilities:

Assist with engineering analysis tasks, such as traffic analysis; traffic signal sequencing, phasing and timing; traffic data collection; technical reports; and traffic modeling and simulation

Prepare engineering plans including traffic signal design; intersection geometrics including Complete Streets principles; pavement markings and signage; and temporary traffic control and construction staging plans

Assist in preparation of contract documents, including plans, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates

Provide responsive client service and strong communication, both internally and externally

Prepare materials and attend project related meetings outside of the office with clients, agencies, and the public

Maintain organized project files

Required Experience:

0-5 years of relevant traffic/transportation experience for consultants or DOT/Municipalities

Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD) is required

Experience with Vissim and Synchro preferred

Knowledge of / exper

Experience with traffic impact studies, corridor design, signal design, and signing / pavement marking
