We are seeking experience Trailer Mechanics for our Pulaski, VA location!

Responsibilities Responsible for repairs and required preventive maintenance of trailersInspect, trouble shoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipmentPerform safety inspections of equipment and prepares safety documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company and any other Federal, State or Local regulationsInterpret work orders and technical manualsRepair or replace defective parts, components or systemsTest repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulationsRegular attendance is required.This is not an all-inclusive list of job requirements and/or duties and may not contain all mental and physical capabilities necessary to perform the job at all times due to circumstances. Operational, safety and other needs may require the employee to perform any and all other duties as assigned. Employees are expected, and must be able to perform all such duties and tasks.

Qualifications:

18+ years of age and a high school diploma (or equivalent) 1 year of trailer mechanic experience or completion of trade schoolMust have own toolsA Valid CDL and acceptable MVR are required if driving on public roadsIf you posses a CDL, you must be registered with ClearinghouseMust be willing to work any shift, including nights and weekends, in any weather conditionMust be willing to submit a pre-employment drug screen, random drug/alcohol tests, and pass a criminal history background check

Pay Range:

 

$29.75 - $31.75 - Level B
