Trailer Technician  - Syracuse, NY

Shift: 1st M-F
Pay: $24-$26

75 Trucks – 100+ trailers
Diesel, CNG, Liquified Gas. All of the included

 

 

Expecations and Requirements 

Follow DOT & OSHA safety procedures consistently Perform proper preventive maintenance Diagnose and repair of trailer/chassis-related defects & repairs Examine, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical problems using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment suspension, brakes, roof repair, patches, replacing cross members, tires PM's, all the basics etc. 

*they do not do coupler plate and lower rail replacements

Qualifications 

Must have a valid driver's license Technical or advanced degree or equivalent maintenance experience Ability to learn windows-based computer systems Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
