Reyes Fleet Management is hiring immediately for the role of a 1st shift Trailer Mechanic B for our site in Portage, IN. This role will primarily be responsible for handling repairs on new and refurbished trailers. Shift: Full-Time l Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM Pay: $24.00-$26.00/HR based on experience/qualifications Why work for Reyes Fleet Management? Holiday pay Yearly performance raises Career advancement opportunities 401K & Company paid life insurance Referral bonuses and Reyes Reward program Health, dental, and vision coverage including multiple medical plans Tool & Boot annual payout Great work culture and clean facilities Financial and wellness discounts and much more Position Responsibilities: The Trailer Upfitting Technician is responsible for the refurbishment and remanufacturing of company fleet assets within the Company As a Trailer Upfitting Technician, you will assist with diagnosing and detailed inspections of complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software You will complete thorough documentation of work orders for repairs through the online AssetWorks system You will install trailer refrigeration, heating units, and external graphics as well as perform basic welding, metal cutting, and installation of hydraulic liftgate components Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience Valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) Preferred Education and Experience: Technical School Certification Equal Opportunity Employee & Physical Demands Reyes Holdings and its businesses are equal opportunity employers.
