Trailer Technician A

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Trailer Technician A for our Martin Brower shop in Pompano Beach. Thermo King experience is a plus but we will train you on that if necessary. 

 

Shift: Full-Time l Tues - Friday 10am-6:30pm, Saturday 8am-4:30pm

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00/hr, depending upon experience and qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:High school diploma or GEDPost- Secondary Vocational Education strongly preferredMinimum of 4 years related experience with trailer upfitting, mechanical repairs or diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment and demonstrates proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of all fleet assets.Refrigeration Certification (609)Welding Certification or equivalent training and experienceMust possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)Must be willing to obtain powered industrial truck operator certificationWillingness to learn and commit to training on industry technologyValid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehiclesAcceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulationsAbility to work any schedule, including nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to utilize an on board computer and desktop computer. (PC, Windows, Microsoft Programs, etc)Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to be able to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and recordsAbility to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 poundsSome travel may be requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThis position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:
