**Train Manager**
Airswift is currently recruiting for a Train Manager who will be working for a reputable company, based in La Rochelle France. The Train Manager ensures proper train preparation and availability for test phases, oversees EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) compliance during extensive Rolling Stock testing, and manages Rolling Stock test execution.

Key Responsibilities
Tests on Rolling Stock Sites (RS) Represent PrTCM on board during validation, certification, and dynamic serial commissioning tests. Ensure test readiness (staffing, tools, measurement devices, spare parts). Verify train and environmental readiness for testing. Coordinate track slot reservations with the Serial Test Manager. Conduct specific tests. Provide instructions to the driver. Report failures to the Test Manager. Maintain test documentation (chronology of events). Coordinate onboard test personnel. Ensure safety and EHS rule compliance for all onboard personnel. Manage first aid provisions and emergency response channels. Ensure accurate train set configuration management.
Tests at Private Test Centers Represent PrTCM during validation, certification, and commissioning tests. Support test preparation with the Test Manager (CV). Verify train readiness for testing. Serve as a primary point of contact with the Railway Test Centre. Arrange test slot bookings in coordination with the Test Manager. Confirm test track availability before authorizing test team access. Oversee tests in collaboration with the Test Manager. Report track conditions and incidents post-testing. Assist the Test Manager in generating failure reports. Support documentation of test chronology. Coordinate onboard personnel. Ensure all personnel comply with Railway Test Centre safety regulations. Manage first aid provisions and emergency response. Validate train set modifications and determine test feasibility. Halt tests if the train is deemed unsafe. Tests on Public Railway Networks Represent PrTCM during validation, certification, and commissioning tests. Ensure test readiness in coordination with the Test Manager (CV). Confirm train’s ability to complete tests. Serve as the primary contact with the Testing Body (e.g., Eurail test AEF). Participate in test execution. Coordinate tasks with Company teams and the Test Manager. Execute specific tests as required. Assist in failure reporting. Support test documentation (chronology of events). Coordinate onboard personnel, including suppliers and external stakeholders. Ensure adherence to Railway Test Centre safety procedures. Manage first aid provisions and emergency protocols. Validate train set configuration accuracy. Oversee train set modifications and determine test safety. Authorize test suspension if safety concerns arise. Skills & Experience Required Experienced in Testing, Certification, or Validation as a Technician Strong organizational and structured approach Excellent coordination and decision-making abilities
