The Trained Medication Assistant (TMA)provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The TMA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:\n\nCreate a fun, engaging and caring environment for our residents\nUnder the direction of an RN, administer routine daily prescription or non-prescription medication to residents whose condition and drug regimen are stable\nAssist residents by providing social interaction, community connection, support, personal care, housekeeping duties and other tasks\nAssist the nurses and other staff as needed\nAdminister constant, quality customer service to help our residents thrive\nOther duties as assigned\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nCertification\/current registration as a Trained Medication Assistant (TMA)\nHigh-school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required \nOne year nursing\/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred but not required\nAbility to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English\nKnowledgeable about the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the CNA\nBasic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems\nPossess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care \nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team\n\n
